School Radio Broadcasts

  • 1948  Dr. Walter Panofsky, employee of Bavarian Radio, came across the music from Orff's Schulwerk. Annamarie Schambeck, head of department for school, requested Orff create music that could be played by children themselves. They believe that this type of music would directly appeal to children and they have plans to produce a series of broadcasts. On Sep. 15th , the first Schulwerk programmed was broadcast for children
